A child actor since 'I.D. Cymru' (1983), Wil Rees knows the pitfalls of fame more than anyone on the 'First One To Die Loses' cast and crew. "It's a tough business" he explains, "but if you've got talent and appeal you'll go far. I've never taken an acting class in my life. I don't need to, I'm an actor."

Accepting such notable roles as Ivan Kempinsky ('Teen Squirrel') and Dr. Nipipey ('Seven Pennies From Heaven') Wil Rees has consistently extended his range of roles. Winning the role of Ice Phoenix though was what he calls "an actor's dream come true". Although he disappointed die-hard fans of the series by refusing to renew his contract for 'Part IV', Wil maintains that, now he is back, it's going to take more than Flash Del Montay to get rid of him.

Wil Rees now lives in South Wales and is the patron of the Bridgend 'First One To Die Loses' Re-enactment Society.
