Reg Noyes

"Am I a genius? It's not for me to answer that
question. But I will. Yes I am."
Reg Noyes

Being led to believe that he was born into aristocracy by parents who loved a good joke, it would be years before Reg Noyes discovered the humbling truth that he was in fact not in line to the throne. Disgruntled that he had been the brunt of a family joke his entire childhood, Reg took to the road to live the wandering lifestyle of a Mariachi. Despite dreams of entertaining audiences in Barcelona and Paris, Reg's mariachi career was short-lived. Realising he had confused 'Maricopa' with 'Mariachi', Reg was booed off stage by an angry audience who had not paid to see an Arizonian native dance and Reg subsequently spent a year homeless, depressed and trying to find his way again. But, like a phoenix from the flames, Reg rose and returned to the stage for what should have been the comeback of his career. Unfortunately he made the same mistake twice, confusing 'Maricopa' with 'Mariachi' and was ejected from the same theatre by many of the same crowd who had booed him the previous year.

Fed up with the harsh realities of such a romantic lifestyle, Reg became a Capitalist, establishing the Dufia Corporation which, within 3 years, produced 80% of the world's cheeses and women's brassieres. Now a millionaire, Reg ploughed money into foreign film production as a way of avoiding heavy taxes and as a result became increasingly interested in movies. Soon though the soulless existence of making disgusting amounts of money became too much for Reg and one day he'd simply had enough. Making sure he had just enough money for the bus fare home, Reg gave every last penny of his vast fortune to charity and returned home, determined such a gesture would win him back the love of his family. He was wrong. His family's love would have to be bought. Unable to afford the £17.99 monthly bill for his family's love, Reg returned to education, determined that his new love of movies would serve him well.

Finally accepted to film school, Reg began writing a script that would eventually become First One To Die Loses. The road had been long, but the legacy had started.

Reg Noyes now lives in London and is currently in pre-production on First One To Die Loses Part VIII.
